Restoring a Broken, yet Whimsical Nation
During my month in Uganda, the people there captured my heart. I will forever remember the joy, hope, and love that was deeply rooted in the hearts of the people there. Therefore, I am so blessed to see people who want to make a difference and restore this broken nation. It is truly a nation full of whimsy.

A Hole in Her Throat
Here is a blog from, current World Racer Stacey Hume. It is a beautiful depiction of the many emotions and brokenness I felt while on the Race. I knew that Africa would be different. I knew from the bus ride, the dusty landscape, and the few people I had met, that this place would change me. Three days in, and it has already come true. He Stepped Out of the Office: The Boss and Email...
While I was in The Boss’ office, learning another way to enter the same information in a spreadsheet, just with different colors in a different order, The Boss received an email requiring the assistance of Our Manager. When The Boss called for Our Manager and when received no response, he simply replied, “he stepped out of the office…”
Two seconds after The Boss clicks...

"Jesus had HIV"
Today the headlines on bbc.com included an article about outrage in South Africa over a pastor who began a three-part sermon series titled “Jesus was HIV Positive”. Christians across the world have spoken out against Pastor Skosana’s statement, claiming he is mocking Christ and placing a socially-unacceptable stigma on a man who was sinless. However, Pastor Skosana is not claiming this statement...
